All Yaara subscriptions and one-time purchases are sold through Google Play Billing (on Android) or the Apple App Store (on iOS). Google and Apple are the merchant of record — they process every payment and handle every refund. This policy explains how to cancel and how to request a refund.
Cancellation stops future renewals immediately. Your existing plan benefits — messages, all-Companion access, and any unused Boost balance — continue to work until the end of the current billing cycle. After the cycle ends, you drop back to the free tier and no further charges are made.
We do NOT offer pro-rata refunds for partial-month cancellations. When you cancel, you keep full access until the cycle ends — there is nothing further to refund from our side. If you believe you were charged in error (double-charge, failed activation, accidental purchase), you must request the refund directly from the store that processed your payment:
Non-refundable once purchased, as the messages are credited to your account immediately. Boost balance is valid for 365 days from the date of your most recent Boost purchase and is only usable while a recurring subscription is active. If a technical issue prevented delivery of the messages, contact help@yaara.app within 24 hours and we will help you raise the refund with Google or Apple.
If your card / UPI / wallet was charged but the plan did not activate in the app, Google or Apple will auto-reverse the charge in 5–7 business days. If it doesn't, contact help@yaara.app and the store's help desk in parallel.
Please contact us at help@yaara.app before initiating a chargeback with your bank — most issues can be fixed via the app store faster than a chargeback.
Any dispute regarding refunds is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, without prejudice to any policies of Google Play or the Apple App Store that apply to purchases made on those platforms.
